Transfer Students

Transfer students are always welcome to join our community.

To apply simply follow our standard admissions procedure, but be sure to send official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities.

Students currently enrolled at another accredited institution must be in good academic standing.

If you wish to receive credit for courses completed elsewhere, please submit your transcript as soon as possible. This will impact your financial aid, advisement and registration priority so it necessary to get them in quickly.

If you do not wish to receive credit for courses completed elsewhere, you may request that we do not evaluate your prior college-level work. This decision is irrevocable. Please submit your request in writing along with your application.

Arrange to have all official transcripts sent directly from the issuing institution to:

Earn Credit

We may award credit for courses already completed at a regionally accredited institution with a grade C or better in business, computer science, education, human services, humanities, physical and mathematical sciences, and social sciences.

Students who have earned an Associate’s degree may transfer up to 60 credits toward their Bachelor’s degree at LAS, provided they meet all course and credit distribution requirements in their intended area of study.

You must complete at least 50% of the credits in your chosen major at Touro.

For more information, see the Undergraduate Transfer Credit Policy

Seminary/Yeshiva Study

Students may apply up to 48 college credits from post-high school seminary or yeshiva studies completed in Israel, the United States and other countries. Submit your official yeshiva transcripts for evaluation. We only award credit for courses completed with a grade C or better.
