He plans to go to medical school after graduating and chose Touro because of the quality of the education that was offered. "My father, grandfather and uncle are all members of Hatzala," Malek said. "My grandfather started the Hatzala chapter of the Lower East Side." His first semester of classes include Biology, Introduction to Psychology, English 101 and Computer Science.
