NY State Senator Simcha Felder to Join Faculty of Touro’s Lander College of Arts & Sciences

New York, N.Y. – New York State Senator Simcha Felder will join the faculty of the Lander College of Arts and Sciences (LAS) in Flatbush, a division of Touro College,  as an assistant professor of management. Felder will also serve as an assistant dean of recruitment, the College announced today. 

LAS Alum Shulem Rosenbaum Wins Elijah Watt Sells Award for Top Performers on CPA Exam

New York, N.Y. – The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) announced recently that Shulem Rosenbaum, an alumnus of the Lander College of Arts and Sciences-Flatbush (LAS), was a winner of the 2014 Elijah Watt Sells award bestowed upon the top scorers on the Uniform CPA examination.

New York, NY—Touro College celebrated its 41st annual Commencement exercises at Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center on Sunday, May 31, awarding a total of 647 baccalaureate and associate degrees to graduates from Lander College for Men in Kew Gardens Hills (LCM); Lander College for Women-The Anna Ruth and Mark Hasten School in Manhattan (LCW); Lander College of Arts & Sciences-Flatbush (LAS Men’s and Women’s divisions); the School for Lifelong Education in Brooklyn; and Machon L’Parnasa-Institute for Professional Studies.

Dr. Henry Abramson Appointed Dean of Lander College of Arts & Sciences

New York, N.Y. – Touro College announced today that Henry (Hillel) Abramson, Ph.D., has been appointed academic dean of the Lander College of Arts & Sciences in Flatbush (LAS). Dr. Abramson had previously served as dean of academic affairs and student services for Touro College South in Miami, Fla. since 2006.
