Renee Blinder

Ms. Renee Blinder is the coordinator of advisement and counseling at the Lander College/Flatbush. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as well as a New York State Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor. Ms. Blinder previously served as a family therapist with The Yatzkan Center, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center servicing Jewish youth and their families. She was also previously employed as a psychotherapist for the Bridge Back To Life Center and as a family therapist at Stuyvesant Square/Beth Israel Medical Center. She has also served as a senior social worker for other various organizations. Ms. Blinder holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brooklyn College in Health Science and a Masters of Social Work from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. She also holds a post-masters certificate in family therapy from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Ms. Blinder also represents the college as a member of the Committee on Academic Standing.
