Dr. Joel Dickstein is an Assistant Professor of Education and the Disabilities Services Director at Touro. He also serves as a senior consultant for the National Education and Resource Center and has been very active in training teachers to deal with the special needs of students. He previously served as program coordinator for the Yeshiva University High School P’Tach program. He has also served in various administrative positions at Fairleigh Dickinson and Columbia Universities. Dr. Dickstein has an Ed.D and M. Ed in Special Education from Teachers College of Columbia University. He completed his undergraduate studies at Case Western Reserve University, where he received a BA in Psychology and Education.
