Academic programs at the Lander College of Arts & Sciences (LAS) are designed to prepare you to succeed in the professional world, medical or dental school, graduate study, or law school. No matter your major, you’ll benefit from a core curriculum that builds essential skills in writing, research, and critical thinking while giving you a strong foundation in the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities.

With unique programs for men and women, you’ll learn in separate classes designed to uphold your values and boundaries while fostering academic excellence. We also offer Honors Tracks and Pathway Programs to advanced degrees at Touro in fields like PT, pharmacy, OT, medicine, PA studies, and accounting (CPA).

All of this takes place in a supportive environment where academic growth and Torah values go hand in hand — with small classes, flexible schedules, and dedicated faculty who know you by name.

The core writing classes at LAS were incredible, and those classes shaped how I wrote my application for PA school. I really believe that strong writing is an X-factor in your application. A great essay can make someone remember you.
