Major: Biology

Yeshiva: TJ, Israel (2 years)
Future career: Physical therapy
Why physical therapy? Because I like the hands-on experience with patients, and I like watching my patients’ steady progress and recovery. My parents needed physical therapy a few years ago after they were injured in a car accident. They became very close to their PT, and I became fascinated by the field. Every time he came over for a session, I badgered him with questions.
Why LAS? In Israel, I decided I wanted to attend an all-men’s school. Here, I like the small classes. If I’d gone to a secular college, I’d be with hundreds of other students in some science lecture hall. And, it’s convenient for my hours.
How I balance: I volunteer at an outpatient clinic every week to receive credits for grad school, so I can schedule my classes around those times.
