Tzvi Scharf, of Brooklyn, said that LAS was recommended to him by a family member who had a positive experience at the college. Scharf intends to pursue a career as a nursing home administrator. “It’s a career where you can make a decent living but you’re not chained to your desk,” he said. “You’re helping people.”
