I am currently, employed as a School Administrator with the New York City Department of Education. Over the last 19 years, I have worked with the New York City Department of Education (DOE), serving in the capacities as: Special Education Teacher, Classroom Teacher of Reading Instruction, Crisis Intervention Teacher, Academic Intervention Teacher, Literacy Coach, and School Administrator. I have also worked as an adjunct instructor at Touro College, serving in the School of Education (Undergraduate Department) for the last 8 years.
I hold an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Kingsboro Community College; a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Sociology from Brooklyn College; a Master’s Degree in Education (Reading) from Brooklyn College; an Advanced Degree in Leadership in Special Education from Bank Street College of Education; and am currently perusing a doctorate in Educational Leadership.
