Dr. Ira Gold received his M.A. in Literature with a Concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Chicago and his Ph.D. in Literature from the CUNY Graduate Center. He began teaching at Touro in 1986 and is currently Professor of Language and Literature who teaches both composition and literature. Dr. Gold has also published more than two dozen short stories in literary journals.
