Yehuda Lehrfield: Pushing for Success
“The scientific method—one of the foundations of any medical profession—is taught rigorously at Touro.”
As a future dentist, Yehuda Lehrfield, LAS ‘14, credits the “unique, individualized attention” the professors showered on him as one of the reasons he was able to do so well academically at LAS. Thanks to his stellar achievements, Lehrfield was accepted to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry—known as one of the most advanced dental schools in the world (and the first one, too.)
“My professors were always trying to push me and help me succeed," he said. He’s also grateful for the lasting relationships he’s forged with these professors. “I gained tremendously from my interactions with the faculty, and I knew I could go to their office anytime to talk—even about subjects outside schoolwork or coursework.
“That’s special. That’s something you don’t get in another college."
This is Yehuda Lehrfield’s LAS story.
