Avi Fertig brings decades of experience as a communicator, connector, and problem solver across government, business, and nonprofit sectors. Before joining Touro, he served as Executive Director of the 47th Street Business Improvement District and held senior public affairs and communications roles in the New York State Senate, New York City Council, and Nassau County Legislature. Avi’s broad and practical career experience enables him to provide students with targeted, real-world guidance as he helps them identify their strengths, build compelling resumes and online profiles, and develop the communication skills that open doors to meaningful careers.
