• Professor Steven Rovt (MPA) is a Touro graduate and has spent over 20 years working in business operations and higher education. Recognized for his accessibility and mentorship, he brings real-world insight to the classroom and has earned awards for his outstanding teaching.
• Professor Anna Geller-Kaplan (MBA) has a strong background in managerial education who is known for her engaging teaching style. She holds a BS from Brooklyn College and an MBA from Pace University and supports students through challenging finance and data-focused coursework.
• Professor Devorah Ehrlich, Esq. (CPA) is chair of the accounting department and a licensed CPA and attorney. She holds a JD from NYU School of Law and teaches courses like Intermediate Accounting II. Known for her clear instruction and steady mentorship, she supports students from their first accounting class through the screening exam and beyond.
• Professor Meyer Peikes (PhD) is interim chair of undergraduate business programs and a trusted student advisor, Professor Peikes combines academic depth with personal guidance. • Professor Yossef Newman (CPA) is a Touro alum and former audit director at Deloitte, where he helped lead national innovation in accounting and analytics. Behind every smart business decision is someone who understands the numbers. In Cost Accounting (EBAN 213), you’ll learn how to track, manage, and analyze internal costs — skills essential for anyone overseeing budgets, improving efficiency, or guiding a department’s performance.

You’ll explore cost behavior, job order and process costing, budgeting systems, and variance analysis, giving you the tools to make informed, data-driven decisions.
