How to Apply to the Honors Program

We consider applicants from one basic vantage point: how may we best help this student achieve his or her ultimate objective of improving the world we share?

Native intelligence and scholarly ability are the basics, and as a result we look for students with:

  • a minimum SAT score of 1350
  • a high school average of 90 or above (or GPA of at least 3.8)

But we also try to look beyond the numbers: we’re interested in stellar letters of recommendation, unusual dedication to public service, and artistic creativity.

How to Apply

In addition to the general LAS application, submit the Honors Program application along with letters of recommendation and personal statement.  

Selected applicants will be invited to interview for the Flatbush Society of Fellows. Nominations for interviews, especially from faculty in high schools, yeshivas or seminaries may be sent directly to henry.abramson@touro.edu.
