Transfer Students
The Lander College of Arts and Sciences welcomes qualified transfer students and qualified visiting students from other colleges.
To apply you will need to follow our standard admissions procedure, as well as send a copy of your official college transcripts.
Please submit your college transcript as soon as possible. This will impact your financial aid, advisement and registration priority so it is necessary to get them in quickly.
If you do not wish to receive credit for courses completed elsewhere, you may request that we do not evaluate your prior college-level work. This decision is irrevocable. Please submit your request in writing along with your application.
Arrange to have all official transcripts sent directly from the issuing institution to:

Transfer Credits
Credits are granted for appropriate coursework completed with a grade of “C” or better. To receive transfer credits for college-level work completed at another institution, students must submit an official transcript. Entering students submit their transcripts to the Office of Admissions, while those who have already enrolled must forward their records to the Office of the Registrar. All transferred courses are posted on a Touro College transcript without grades.
Students who have earned an Associate’s degree may transfer up to 60 credits toward their Bachelor’s degree at LAS, provided they meet all course and credit distribution requirements in their intended area of study.
You must complete at least 50% of the credits in your chosen major at Touro.
For more information, see the Undergraduate Transfer Credit Policy.
Seminary/Yeshiva Studies
Students may apply up to 48 college credits from post-high school seminary or yeshiva studies completed in Israel, the United States and other countries. Submit your official yeshiva transcripts for evaluation to:
