School for Women
Forge your own path toward the future with the support and strength of a community that shares your professional goals and personal values.
The School for Women at the Lander College of Arts & Sciences was created to serve students like you: dedicated Jewish women seeking a rich intellectual experience and career preparation in a safe, supportive environment that respects our Jewish customs.
We provide an intensive, career-focused education and an intimate community of like-minded scholars and citizens, where we may strengthen our ties to one another and to our culture/future.
College to Career Success
Choose your concentration from over 20 professionally-oriented programs, from management and marketing to accounting and digital multimedia design. Honors and accelerated joint degree options are also available in a variety of fields to help give you an early edge as you work toward your goals.
Courses are offered during afternoons, evenings, and on Sundays, as well as during the summer, so you can complete your degree and start your career in reasonable time.
We invite you to explore our academic offerings, requirements, and alumni outcomes to discover the power of a Touro education. Of course, please contact us with any questions you have about our admissions process or programs.
NEW! FLEX Program Online Majors
We now offer three majors in a flexible online format. You can take courses fully online, with a mix of live, synchronous Zoom classes, and traditional online asynchronous classes. If one of these majors fits your career goals, you have the self-discipline for online learning, and need more flexible scheduling and less commute time, this is the right program for you! Available majors are:
- Computer Science (also offered on the LAS Flatbush campus and you have the option to take courses in-person, as available)
- Cybersecurity
- Management/Marketing (also offered on the LAS Flatbush campus and you have the option to take courses in-person, as available)
- Psychology (also offered on the LAS Flatbush campus and you have the option to take courses in-person, as available)
The FLEX program starts each Fall (late August or early September) and assumes that you have satisfied your Judaic Studies requirements with credits earned in seminary in Israel or elsewhere. Specific courses are offered in specific semesters only.
